June 9-13: Bionic Heroes: The Battle Begins
Last year, we finally captured the evil supervillains, Mister Mister and Mrs. Mister (aka Milo and Jane Maxwell) and sent them to the Quantum Realm! However, after their defeat, their son Vaughn (aka Vectron) vowed revenge on Camp Eagle! We don’t know exactly what his plans are, but if he’s anything like the Misters, we know our camp is in trouble! We also learned that Vectron is a bionic human--an engineered super soldier who could have super strength, super speed, a bionic mind… and who knows what else! This is going to be the hardest challenge we have ever faced because now, we are going against a villain whose powers are stronger than our own. Who can even help us when we know nothing about Vectron, his powers, or even about bionics? And can we figure out a way to stop Vectron and discover what he is planning before it’s too late? It’s up to you! Camp Eagle is now accepting applications for our Bionic Training Facility. Come perfect your skills and help us defeat Vectron at Bionic Heroes: The Battle Begins.
Field Trip: We have heard that Main Event in Katy is holding some items we need. What could they be? We will have to go there to find out!
June 16-20: Time Machine!
Last year, we bent time as we visited our favorite holidays… in the middle of the summer! This year we have even bigger plans to use a Time Machine to travel through history! Who knows if we might sock hop to Elvis hits, break dance in an 80’s mall, or maybe even catch a glimpse of the future! Join us to find out exactly where our amazing Time Machine will take us! We have the machine, we have our dancing shoes, and now all we need is YOU! Each morning our Time Machine will be programmed with a new and exciting destination, and the only way to find out WHEN we end up is to JUMP IN! You’ll enjoy a “secret snack”, decade themed parties, time specific activities, clothing, “dance-offs”, competitions, crafts, music, games, skits, trivia, videos, phrases, and so much more from each day’s new time period! But which decades will they be? There is only one way to find out! Join us--at Time Machine Week!!
Field Trip: We will journey back in time at the Children’s Museum of Houston.
July 7-11: Twice Upon A Crime: The Mystery Continues
A mysterious saga began last year when we traveled to Storyland to save it from the evil Storyland Secret Villain (SSV), who turned out to be none other than Maleficent, who actually pretended to be our ally the whole time! We helped Aslan stop Maleficent and capture her just in the nick of time, and now she is now in a deep, deep sleep in the Land of Dreams. After that, everything appeared to be peaceful in Storyland. Until another villain came forward, the SSV2, who thanked us for getting Maleficent out of the way! Now, the SSV2 has declared war on Storyland, and it is up to us to save it! We need every detective we can get to help Aslan solve crimes, find evidence, and exonerate villains live from our villain gameboard. Have you ever heard of Toy Story, Moana, the Wizard of Oz, or maybe Cinderella? Get ready to enter and experience in front of your eyes the stories that you’ve always heard of but never thought were real, until now. But this special land is in danger, and we need YOUR help to save it!
Field Trip: There is a clue we need at Space Center Houston.
July 14-18: Olympics XIII: Ready Player One
As Olympians these past twelve seasons, we have played as restaurants, countries, planets, and even former champions. We’ve learned the meaning of teamwork, and what it truly means to “win”. This year, in an Olympics unlike ever before, we will be representing our favorite video games in a battle for the gold! Which players will reign supreme? Will it be Minecraft, Mario Kart, Fortnite, or a different challenger? Come enter our Olympic Arena once again where we will compete in various events, create team shirts, think up chants, design banners, cook foods in a “Gamer bake-off”, and participate in our daily “Trivia Quest” as we learn facts about all of our favorite video games. Campers will rotate with their assigned counselor and team for the entire week. Olympians--you are summoned to light the torch as ten teams battle for the chance to work together and stand on the podium at our daily closing ceremonies and medal celebrations. Which video game truly is THE GREATEST? Find out at Olympics XIII--Ready Player One. Our camp adventure concludes with the highly anticipated all-night campout on July 18 with a campfire, s’mores, secret games, and a classic game of Capture the Flag in the dark on the football field (with glow sticks).
Wednesday On-site Tournament: “PVP Tournament”
