ADMINISTRATION
Dr. Lauren Dyal, Head of School
Lauren has an EdD Educational Leadership, as well as a BS Economics (Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1999), an MA Economics, and has completed her Ph.D. coursework in Finance. She spent 10 years as our Upper School Administrator and has served as the Director of Business and the Director of Preschool, in addition to her role as dual credit instructor for Mathematics and Economics as an adjunct with Lone Star College. Lauren and her family are members of Pine Island Baptist Church.
Robert Smith, 7th-12th Principal
Robert holds a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Business from Sam Houston State University and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Robert has over 20 years of experience in education and comes from a long line of educators. When he is not teaching, he enjoys sharing the love of Christ around the World.
Amy Hargrove, K-6th Principal
Amy has been with RCS since 2012. Before becoming the K-6th Principal, she worked in the Business Development Department. Amy has also been an RCS parent for the past 13 years, with three boys in attendance. She holds a BS in Communication Disorders from Texas State University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Amy and her family are members of Fellowship of Champions Church.
Katie Davila, Dean of Academics
Katie an M.A. in English and a B.A. in Education with a specialization in History. She has been in education for 19 years, with the last 17 at RCS. Katie has taught Kinder-12th over the course of her teaching career, in addition to teaching dual credit English as an adjunct with Lonestar College. In addition to teaching, she has served as the guidance counselor and as a principal. As the Dean of Academics, Katie has the privilege of serving teachers and families in the area of Curriculum and Instruction. Katie and her husband have four sons, and are active members at Pine Island Baptist Church.
Doug Chumley, Campus Pastor
Doug has worked in education for 17 years. He has devoted his life to teaching, preaching, writing, and sharing the Word of God as a licensed minister since 2005. His book, *Fence Posts*, published in 2016, is targeted at men and God's biblical call on their lives. Chumley has served as Campus Pastor at RCS for two years.
Amber Hurst, Director of Counseling
Amber is a Licensed Professional Counselor with an M.Ed. in Educational Counseling and a B.A. in Psychology. Passionate about building resiliency in students, she strives to make them feel seen, known, and loved. To that endeavor, Amber has served in an educational setting, both public and private, for 17+ years holding various K-12 teaching and administrative roles, including school counselor, academic achievement specialist, assistant principal, and principal. She and her husband have two sons and are active members of Bayou City Fellowship Tomball.
Wade Sharayha, Director of Operations and Human Resources
Wade joined RCS in 2015, bringing over three decades of experience in both non-profit work and the customer service industry to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Western Governors University. As a dedicated family man, Wade is a proud father of two boys. His youngest son, a recent graduate, attended RCS for 15 years. Wade and his wife have been happily married for 34 years and are active members of Second Baptist Church - Cypress Location. Their commitment to faith and community underscores Wade's values of integrity and service.
Cathy Dobbs, Director of Preschool
Cathy has taught Preschool at RCS for 15 years. She has an Associates degree in Child Development and is a member of the NAEYC. Cathy and her family are members of Pine Island Baptist church, where her husband serves as Senior Pastor. She has a heart for children and wants every child to come to know Jesus.
Donna Cox, Director of Lil' Eagles
Donna joined RCS in 2006. She attended Howard Payne University and holds a National Admin Credential from the National Institute of Child Care Management. Donna has two daughters and a son-in-law who graduated from RCS. She is blessed with five grandchildren, three of whom currently attend RCS. Donna and her family are members of Real Life Church.
Steve Krantz, Director of Athletics
Steve Krantz will start his 21st year as the head coach of the Lady Eagles Varsity Basketball team. Under his leadership, the Lady Eagles have averaged 23 wins per season. His teams have been to 10 Final Fours and five state championship games, winning the state title in 2011. Steve is starting his 11th year as Athletic Director and is married to Sabrina, who also works as an administrative assistant in the athletic department. They have five children and nine grandchildren. When not serving at Rosehill, they love spending time with family and traveling.
Nathan Utt, Assistant Athletic Director
Nathan Utt started at RCS in 2022. Nathan has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Missouri Baptist University. He loves spending every day in the classroom and on the field with our students. When Nathan is not teaching or coaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and playing a round of golf here and there. Nathan and his family are active members of Redeemer Church in Tomball, TX.
